The Coast Guard says that a 68-year-old Oregon man was killed when his motorboat collided with a Golden Gate ferry called the MS San Francisco. The boat accident happened around 4 p.m. in the Raccoon Straight by Tiburon.
A 60-year-old San Francisco man was recently convicted of vehicular manslaughter for causing a pedestrian's wrongful death in San Francisco's pedestrian district last year. The man is a former deputy director of the Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency's transportation development division.
A road rage incident appears to have turned into a fatal car accident on Saturday in Santa Rosa. Authorities say that Santa Rosa drivers were alarmed when they saw a female driver apparently trying to chase down a motorcyclist Saturday afternoon on Fulton and Hall Streets. Witnesses say that the woman was driving recklessly and sideswiped a Lexus while attempting to catch up with the motorcyclist.
